¿LIBRERÍA
o BIBLIOTECA?
The popular tendency among native Spanish speakers
to call a library a librería is not a good thing; it perpetuates
the impression that our libraries are something other than free
public institutions. Marie Kaneko of the Commerce, CA Public Library
found this two-sided bilingual flyer, designed to set folks straight
once and for all, and revised it to fit her library. Below the flyer
its text which you can plant in your word processor and adapt to
your own local needs.
